How to Determine Your Square Footage

Home inspection pricing is determined by finished/heated square footage. Although, unfinished basements and/or garage space is included in our inspection and report, they are not used to calculate square footage. 

🔍 What to Include in the Square Footage Calculation:

  •  Finished living space, including finished basement
  • In-law units, ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units), 
  • FROGs (Finished Room Over Garage), even if detached 

🚫 What Does Not Need To Be Included in the Square Footage Calculation:

  • Unfinshed Basement
  • Unfinished attics or crawlspaces 
  • Garage 

 

To ensure your inspection is thorough & enough time is allocated, select correct square footage & additional services when booking (e.g., radon, termite inspection).
